We consider Kerala cuisine to be an
essential part of our nation's culture and so think it is important
to give people from other countries the opportunity to study our
cuisine as well as our language and culture. All our cooking programmes
are designed for people of all ages and nationalities who wish to
take an intensive practical cooking week in a relaxed atmosphere
while staying in the beautiful cities and country sides of Kerala.
You will learn how to prepare a host of versatile malayali dishes
with confidence and will gain a greater understanding of how to
select and use basic keraleeya ingredients.
Day 01 Trivandrum
Arrival at Trivandrum our representative will be at the Airport
to receive you. On arrival transferred to Home at Trivandrum. Overnight
at Home.
Day 02 Trivandrum to Kovalam
Morning sightseeing at TrivandrumMorning you will be transferred
to Home at Kovalam. Sightseeing at Trivandrum Padmanabha Swamy temple,
Museum, Horse Palace, Art Gallery. Evening you will be free. Overnight
at Home.
Day 03 Kovalam
Sightseeing at Kovalam. Evening you will be free at Kovalam Beach.
Overnight at home.
Day 04 Kovalam to Varkala
Morning you will be transferred to Varkela. Check in at Home.Rest
of the Day free.Overnight at Homel.
Day 05 Varkala
After breakfast sightseeing at Varkela. Elephant ride. Overnight
at Home
Day 06 Varkela to Kollam
Morning you will be transferred to Home at Kollam. Check in to the
Hotel, Afternoon Kayalpradkshin Backwater Village Tour. Overnight
at Home.
Day 07 Kollam to Kottayam
After breakefast you will be taken to the Matha Amrithanandamayi
Ashram, at Vallikavu, Ochira Kali ( in mid June and the twelve Day
Panthrandu Vilakku (twelve lamp festival) in November/December)
Sightseeing at Palaruvi Waterfalls, Thenmala Check in to the Homel
at Kottayam. Overnight at home.
Day 08 Kottayam to Kumarakom
Sightseeing at Aruvikuzhi Waterfalls 18 km from Kottayam town, Ayyappara
(the original term Anchupara (five rocks),Kottathavalam. Overnight
at Home at Kumarakom.
Day 09 Kumarakom
Morning you will be taken Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Overnight at
Home.
Day 10 Kumarakom to Cochin
After breakefast drive to Cochin. Afternoon sightseeing of Cochin
includes Jew Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St.Francis Church, Chineese
Fishing net etc. Overnight at Home.
Day 11
Transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway Station .
